Adult Traveler Background Checks

All adult travelers are required to complete an expanded background check to travel with the band to Hawaii.  Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Complete the Chaperone Agreement and return to Mrs. Pauls.
  2. Complete the expanded background check process here.
    1. There is a cost of the expanded check.  Depending in the number of counties you have lived, you can expect the check to run about $30.
    2. For ‘position’ select employment.

Forms are also available from Mrs. Pauls in the Performing Arts Office.

Please return them to apauls@wanee.org or in person to the Performing Arts Office.

June 10, 2021 – June 16, 2021

 

Important Deadlines

FEB 19 – Travelers who have not paid the $75 deposit will be dropped from the trip on February 19.

APR 1 – Please have your Music Travel account current and all payments up to date.  This means $1,750 (or more) paid in.

APR 11 – Last day to drop with refund (minus deposit).

May 20 – Final payment date.  Last day to add trip insurance.  (see info below for Cancel For Any Reason insurance)  

Trip Mods

  • Hawaii is currently in stage 2 and appears to be moving to stage 3 very soon. Stage 4 is the least restrictive.
  • The King Kamehameha Parade has been cancelled.
  • Buses will be 50% capacity (in Hawaii).
  • Performance at the USS Arizona is tentative.
  • Visiting the Pearl Harbor Memorial (USS Arizona) is still on.
  • Dining arrangements will likely need to be split into 2 different groups.
  • Hawaii has a 14-day quarantine for people coming into the state.  This requirement can be lifted with a negative COVID test within 72hr prior to arriving.
  • We will be flying United Airlines.
